Indivisible Dallas was founded in response to rising authoritarianism in the US, seeking to unite passionate individuals in the fight for democracy through community-driven initiatives and persistent activism. Indivisible Dallas organizes to build an active community that is CONNECTED to people, INFORMED by facts, and ENGAGED in civic responsibility. Together, we are Indivisible.

Black Voters Matter Fund

We build Black political power by strengthening local organizations, expanding civic engagement, building cross-community coalitions, and advancing policies that protect and empower Black communities.

Children’s Defense Fund

Our mission is to build community so young people grow up with dignity, hope, and joy. We work at the intersection of well-being and racial justice for children and youth. We work alongside and amplify the power of youth and families through advocacy, community organizing, direct service, and public policy.

Common Cause Texas

Common Cause has been fighting for and winning key democracy reforms since our founding in 1970. We’ve worked to protect voters, limit Big Money’s influence on our elections, improve transparency in government, stop partisan and racial gerrymandering, and more.

League of Women Voters of Dallas

The mission of the League of Women Voters of Dallas is empowering voters and defending democracy. Whatever our color, background or zip code, in America we value our freedom to vote, and to have a say in decisions that impact our  lives from election laws, redistricting, the environment and access to affordable housing and health care.

Texas Civil Rights Project

We are Texas lawyers and advocates for Texas communities, boldly serving the movement for equality and justice in and out of the courts. We envision a Texas where all communities thrive with dignity and justice and without fear. TCRP believes that legal advocacy and litigation are critical tools to protect and advance the civil rights of everyone in Texas, particularly our State’s most vulnerable populations, and to effect positive and lasting change to law and policy.

Bridge North Texas

Bridge North Texas is a 10-year commitment (2025–2035) to bridge the power infrastructure needed to shift what’s possible in the South, starting right here in North Texas. We organize people, institutions, and resources over 10-year horizons to win material improvements in people’s lives while building belonging and durable infrastructure for the future. By 2035, we aim to build democratic governing power across the South, starting in North Texas. This is a long-haul fight for healthcare, housing, education, labor rights, climate sustainability, and economic dignity for all.

Democratic Socialists of America North Texas

Democratic Socialists of America North Texas is the largest socialist organization in the DFW area. Part of the national DSA organization, DSA seeks to build working class power, whether it’s at the ballot box, in the streets, or at the workplace. We believe that workers deserve healthcare, housing, good jobs, and civil rights. And we believe that as Americans it is our responsibility to fight against our country’s imperial conquests in other countries.

Downwinders At Risk

We believe everyone has the right to a healthy community. Downwinders at Risk mobilizes North Texas communities to fight for clean air and environmental justice through grassroots organizing, education, and advocacy.

Explaind

Explaind is a non-partisan civic information and community engagement organization that helps people understand local government and participate in the decisions affecting their lives. We make public decisions easier to understand, listen to what communities are experiencing, and create opportunities for people to learn, ask questions, and take part.

Integrity Matters

Integrity Matters is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to strengthening democracy through civic engagement, community organizing, and election protection. We work with small businesses, community leaders, and trusted local voices to promote voter participation, protect access to the ballot, and ensure voters have the information and resources needed to participate confidently in elections.

PSL DFW

The Party for Socialism and Liberation exists to carry out the struggle for socialism inside the United States, the center of world capitalism and imperialism. The PSL stands in solidarity with working-class and oppressed people around the world who are resisting capitalist exploitation and imperialist domination.

Save Dallas City Hall Coalition

We are a grassroots organization seeking to save I.M. Pei’s iconic Dallas Municipal Center. In the process, we will remind our government that the people must always have a voice.

Cultivate a vibrant culture of civic participation in the Latino community that becomes a transformative force towards a more progressive and inclusive Tejas.

Starbucks Workers United

Starbucks Workers United is our worker led union of over 12,000 baristas. First formed in 2021 by stores in Buffalo, NY, we now have won over 700 union elections across the county with more every month. We’re fighting for better workplace protections, just cause, better pay, scheduling, staffing, and ways to properly enforce policies equally.

We (ARE) the People

We (ARE) the People exists to remind us that “We the People” means you and me and that our power, agency, and rights remain ideas until we exercise them. We’re nonpartisan and focused on creating spaces where people show up as people before labels or parties. Our What’s Your Take? project travels the country asking one question: “What would you remind an American in 2076?” The responses are kept until July 2027 and will form a civic mirror that reflects who we are and what we believe outside of feeds or algorithms. No bots, just people.
