What’s Next?
Your Next Steps After No Kings
You showed up. You marched. You made your voice heard alongside millions of Americans who believe this country belongs to the people, not kings or wannabe dictators.
The energy you felt today is powerful, and it’s perishable. Movements don’t win because of single days of action. They win because people channel that energy into sustained work that pressures elected officials, protects communities, wins elections, and shifts the balance of power.
Here are some ways you can make a difference going forward.
Take Your Next Step
Every action matters. Here are some steps you can take right now.
Join a Local Group
Connect with organizers in your neighborhood to learn about and help with local actions in your community. Find your nearest Indivisible chapter or coalition partner in Dallas.
Be An Active Citizen
Be an engaged citizen and exercise your power. Contact your elected officials, show up at city councils, school boards, and legislature hearings. Keep making your voice hear.
Tell Someone Who Wasn’t There
Talk to a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor about what you experienced at No Kings and why you went. Personal conversations are how movements grow beyond the already committed.
Ways to Get Involved
From grassroots organizing to direct action, there are countless ways to make your voice heard in Dallas.
Volunteer Locally
If you want to do more to help, volunteer with an organization that is doing valuable work in Dallas, whether that’s organizing protests, community aid, voter mobilization, or whatever cause suits your passion and helps your community.
Track Your Elected Officials
You showed up in the streets because you oppose authoritarianism. Now show up where the actual decisions get made. City council chambers, the state capitol, and Congress are where legislation is written, debated, and voted on, and your elected officials need to hear from you there too.
Get Trained
Showing up is the first step. Knowing what to do when it counts is the next one. Whether it’s learning how to organize, understanding your legal rights during an ICE encounter, or building the skills to keep your community safe, training turns good intentions into real capacity.
Volunteer For A Campaign
As the 2026 general elections approach, candidates fighting for our values need door-knockers, phone-bankers, text-bankers, and organizers. This is how protest energy becomes electoral power.
Become an Election Worker
Election workers are the backbone of democracy. They are what make elections actually work. Become a poll worker to help make sure local elections run smoothly and fairly.

Your financial contribution fuels our organizing efforts. Every dollar goes directly to:
